Christian peace is not only the absence of pressure. Jesus gives it as an inheritance, and Paul teaches us to receive it in prayer.
Key verses
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
7-day outline
Days 1-2: the peace Jesus gives. Memorize John 14:27 by distinguishing “my peace” from “the world.”
Days 3-4: be careful for nothing. Turn each anxiety into a named request.
Days 5-6: the peace that keeps. Repeat Philippians 4:7 as a promise over heart and mind.
Day 7: full recitation and slow prayer.
Adapt to an anxious season
The plan generator can create a gentler version, with fewer verses and more review days.
Jesus, give me your peace. Keep my heart and mind when anxiety tries to take the room again. Amen.
