Biblical hope is not optimism. It is rooted in the character of God, even when the future remains partly hidden.
Verses of hope
Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
7-day outline
Days 1-2: the God of hope. Start with God's name before the circumstances.
Days 3-4: joy and peace in believing. Repeat Romans 15:13 with slow breathing.
Days 5-6: future and hope. Work Jeremiah 29:11 with its exile context.
Day 7: connect the two texts in personal prayer.

God of hope, fill me with joy and peace in believing. Let my future be received in your faithfulness. Amen.
